Rural Land Preservation (Saturday PM)
The first meeting had six people. Because Matthew will be away most of next year, John Evans has agreed to help convene this group. The group will work on finding a better name for itself so it is presently in the organizing stage. The action team in the future will ask for a meeting with the Planning Commission and offer itself as a citizen group that can be tasked to help the work of the Commission. One topic to consider: How “No Hunting” signs often also say “No Trespassing”. Perhaps we should consider encouraging landowners to allow people to walk on their land.
